If you could live at any moment in time (past or present) in any place, where and when would you live?

Sometimes, we want to go back and we want to change the past. In my case, I want to go back about 1988. I was not born that time. However, that time was big event in Korea. Korea held Olympic in Seoul. What I heard from my parent is the time that Korea held Olympic was like public holiday. Most people watched game that Korean athlete participated in. when Korean athlete won the game, most people went out and yelled out a cheer. Also, sometimes, in some restaurants, foods were free. i cannot image how was that atmosphere. Also, I want to go back to 2002. That time was the big event. In Korea, world cup was held. Korea team went to semifinal. Well, I did not expect that Korea could go to semifinal. I thought Korea team could finish at the preliminaries. So I want to feel that that atmosphere.

Students around the world study English. If all Americans had to study one foreign language, which one should it be?

 I want to recommend Korean. Well, compared to other languages, it is not easy to learn. For example, grammar of Korean is very different from Korean. Location of component of English is subject, verb, object and so on. Also, there is honorific in Korean. Up to Position of other person, using language is different. However, If you learn Korean, you will get benefits. First, if you are good at Korean, you can learn Japanese just in three months. Grammar of Korean is similar to Japanese. So you do not feel difference between Japanese and Korean. Second, compared to Chinese, you do not memories much letters. Korean latters called Hangul consist of 14 consonants and 10 vowels. With 24 letters, you can write everything. Additionally, Hangul did not naturally occur. Korean latters were made about 600 years ago by a king. 600 years ago, before Koreans use Korean latters, Koreans used chicness latters, but chicness latters were hard to the people, so the king called Sejong made Hangul for the people. Anyway, just I want to recommend Korean if you want to know about the Korea.

Why is it difficult for so many people to have a healthy lifestyle these days?

To have a healthy lifestyle, you need to have time to relax. Have you ever thought how many people have time to relax? Maybe only a few people have it. Although world is developing, world economy is bad so life is more and more hard. People spend much time to work. Also they do overtime. Because of that, the quality of life is being lower. Sometime they find how to reduce cost of living and to save time. They eat the fast food or instant food because it save time and price. Because of that, it is not easy to have lifestyle. Maybe somebody say it is personal problem and they did not take care of themselves. It can be true. However, as I mentioned, social negligence is bigger than personal problem. Government or social organizations need to gather attention from people about the health and to try the solve the problem

Do celebrities (singers, sports stars, etc.) have any responsibilty to be good role models for young people?

Well, when we think about role model, maybe role modal means person whose behavior, example, or success is or can be emulated by others, especially by younger people. I think it is up to how you think about them. To someone who wants to be the singers, sports stars and so on like celebrities, celebrities would be models. However, we cannot force them to be good role models because they are not cleric, teacher and young people’s parents. Also, they did not want to become popular from only young people. On the other hand, they cannot ignore their influence through the mess media, so, sometimes, they need to act prudently. Anyway, we need to think about celebrities. Celebrities are not the great man like Abraham Lincoln or Mahatma Gandhi. Celebrities are just famous and do just their job. If Celebrities Left a splendid legacy, they might be good role models.

Would you rather be poor and work at a job you love or be rich and work at a job you hate? Why?

I will be rich and work at a job you hate. If I am poor and work at a job, maybe I will be happy and I will be satisfied. It is good to live alone because I don't Cause other people trouble . If you want to make a family, it will bring trouble to others. If you are poor, you will be only happy about your job and you will be unhappy other thing. What I heard from someone is if you want to do something, but it can not make much money, you leave the job as your hobby. If you are rich, you have much time, so you can do the job that you want at Spare time. If you are rich, you have enough to live on. Sometimes, maybe we give up the job we like because we need to earn much money for family. So I will be rich and work at a job you hate.

What was something that was very important to you when you were a child?

I have not thought about it, but i think, when i was young, something that was very important to me is a computer. Every time after school I played a computer game at home. Even though my mother tried to make me stop to play computer game, I played the computer game when mother was not in home. Sometimes, I used to go to the computer cafe with my friends to play the computer game in stead of playing the game at home to escape from my mother. Also, There was only one computer at home. So only one person can use computer in the result I fought with my elder brother because of the computer. Looking back the childhood, the computer was not important to me now. Because I was child, I think computer was my life. If I went back to my childhood, I would spend other things instead of the computer.

If you could travel to any country in the world, where would you want to go and why?

Usually I like to travel. Especially I want to go to Italy. Italy has many historical places. Also, there are many classical buildings. I want to see those. I saw Italy through the internet or mass media. My friends who went to Italy said there was good to travel. Because of that, I think I long for going to Italy. I heard that Italy is famous for coffee and food. Especially I want to try many kind of pasta. I heard there is an ink pasta. The ink pasta is made of a squid. I am interested in the pasta. Also, Italy is famous for the soccer. I want to see a soccer stadium. Sometimes I want to see the soccer game in person at the stadium. Venice is famous aqua city. Most ways are water way. So there are many gondola. I want to take a gondola and I want to see the city.

What will you be doing in ten years from now?

In 10 years, maybe I will work at a IT company in USA. I usually wanted work there. Because many IT companies are in California, I think I will live there. I think that job is for money. Therefore, I will travel foreign country, if I have a time because I like traveling. because I have not been the Europe. Also, I have a romantic idea I about Europe, So I will travel there, and I will go on the Mediterranean cruise. Sometimes, from Christmas to New Year's day, I will have a vacation in New York, and I will see New Year's day countdown at the time square. Usually, it is not easy to stay there for those days because price of the accommodation is expansive. Also , I want to go to Brazil because I heard Brazil is world-famous for its big Samba Festival. I will see it in person.

  

Person who i admire

Person who i admire is my brother Junhyung. He is four years older than me, so he is 31 now and he lives in Seoul. He is very friendly and confident. He is taller than me.

He is a programer. He has studied programming since he was fifteen years old. After he graduated the bachelor, he got a job that he wanted. Although he work hard, he still study programming. He wanted to be professional programmer.

His hobby is photography. When he was in the college, he joined a photography club. Sometimes weekend, he used to go out and take pictures. Also he held a photo exhibition in the club.

Also, He likes traveling. He traveled many countries. Especially he likes backpacking. So he traveled Europe last year. Sometimes, we dream that we want to be or we want to do, but it is not easy to become true. However, when I see my brother do what he want, I think I can achieve success after striving.
